Protest Men's Gimme Jacket
A fantastic soft shell jacket by Protest. This jacket is part of the Geotech series, technical clothing made to help you get there. The soft shell fabric of this jacket is made up of three layers, firstly the water-repellent layer, secondly the windproof, waterproof and breathable membrane and lastly the soft brushed inner layer providing insulation. These layers mean that you stay warm and dry.
There are hidden zippered side pockets and an attached hood. With 10.000 mm water resistance, the Gimme is the perfect jacket for your winter adventure. This model is 1.85m and wears size L / UK 40.
Specifications
- Geotech 10.000 series: This number tells you how waterproof your garment is. If the fabric is 10k or 10 000 mm, this means you can place a square tube with inner dimensions of 30mm x 30mm over the garment's outer fabric and you could fill it with water to a height of 10 000 mm before water would begin to seep through. The higher this number, the more waterproof the fabric.
- Regular Length: This garment has a regular length.
- Chin protector: A piece of fabric that guards the chin from possible chafing from the zipper.
- Slim fit: This garment has a fit which is tailored to the body.
- Fixed hood: This hood is attached to the garment with stitching and cannot be removed.
- Lycra cuffs: There is an extra cuff on the inside of the sleeve. This helps to keep snow and wind out.
- Soft shell: Soft shell is a stretchy and soft fabric. Made out of three distinct layers, this garment is windproof, waterproof and warm.
