Terrain Editions is a Greek map publisher, well known to hikers and mountaineers for its detailed maps of the Greek mountains and islands. Terrain maps show trails, contour lines, springs, mountain refuges and points of interest, and they are an essential navigation tool in nature.

Terrain maps are useful as:

  • Hiking maps for walking and climbing in the Greek mountains
  • Island trail maps for exploring footpaths
  • Planning tools for excursions, camping and road trips

Even in the age of smartphones and GPS, a printed hiking map remains essential: it needs no battery, gives you an overview of the whole area and helps you plan the route before you set off. Combined with a compass, it is the most reliable way to navigate safely in the mountains, especially where there is no mobile signal.

We do not currently have active Terrain maps in our e-shop. Contact Petridi in Thessaloniki, equipping hikers since 1949, so we can check the availability of the map you need, or help you with compasses and other navigation gear, with delivery all over Greece.
