Opinel is a French company from the Savoie region in the French Alps that has been making knives since the late 19th century. The classic Opinel pocket knife, with its wooden handle and rotating locking ring, is one of the most recognisable knives in the world and a part of everyday French life.

From Opinel we carry:

  • Pocket knives in many sizes, with stainless or carbon steel blades
  • Kitchen and outdoor knives
  • Cutlery for picnics and camping
  • Pouches and sharpeners

An Opinel pocket knife is ideal for picnics, camping, fishing and foraging, and also makes a stylish, affordable gift. The children's models with rounded tips help young users learn to handle a knife safely.

At Petridi we have loved knives and pocket knives for decades, ever since we opened in Thessaloniki in 1949. Come and choose your Opinel in person or order it from our e-shop and we will send it wherever you are in Greece.
