This is a real classic among experienced woodworkers worldwide. With a barrel-shaped oiled Scandinavian FSC® certified birch wood handle and an approximately 2.7 mm thick, tapered laminated carbon steel blade, you can take your creativity to new levels.
Description:
The core of the blade is made of high carbon steel surrounded by a softer alloyed steel layer. The knife blades from 2023 are polished and have a logo stamp, which differs from the earlier knives made before, when they weren’t polished.
The ones manufactured up until 2023 can sometimes be found to have a knotty or unfinished blade surface. It comes from the rollers in the rolling mill where the laminate steel is fused.
The polished surface adds protection from corrosion.
