Petromax is a German brand whose story begins with its distinctive pressure lanterns. Today Petromax is also well known for its cast iron outdoor cookware, which has become a favourite with people who cook over fire and charcoal.

At Petridi our Petromax range is led by Dutch ovens and grills, along with cookware. Typical items include:

  • cast iron Dutch ovens for cooking over the fire
  • grills and pans for charcoal cooking
  • cookware for camping and the garden

A Petromax Dutch oven can sit on embers, in a wood-fired oven or even in your kitchen oven, and it is ideal for slow cooking, bread, stews and one-pot dishes. Petromax gear is aimed at bushcraft fans, campers and backyard cooks who appreciate sturdy cookware that lasts a lifetime with proper care.

At Petridi in Thessaloniki, a store with roots going back to 1949, we will gladly give you tips on seasoning and caring for cast iron. Petromax products are also available in our e-shop with delivery throughout Greece.
