Rock Empire is a Czech company designing equipment for climbing, mountaineering, via ferrata and work at height. Its range covers everything from harnesses and carabiners to rope devices, aiming at functional gear for athletes and professionals.

At Petridi we have selected the essential Rock Empire items every climber needs:

  • Climbing harnesses
  • Ascenders and descenders
  • Locking carabiners

Rock Empire harnesses are made for climbing at sport crags, at the wall or in the mountains, and a correct fit is the first step towards safe climbing. Ascenders and descenders are used for fixed-rope ascents, abseiling and rescue techniques, while the carabiners complete every system. Climbing equipment should always be used by people trained in its correct use. If you are building your first rack, we can help you put together a harness, belay device and carabiners that work well together, and explain how to inspect and store them.

Petridi has supported the Thessaloniki climbing community since 1949. Visit our stores to try on Rock Empire harnesses and talk through your needs, or order online with delivery throughout Greece.
