Smartwool is an American brand from Colorado that became known for its merino wool socks and today also makes baselayers and accessories from the same material. Merino is a natural fibre that keeps you warm, breathes, manages moisture and resists odour, even after many hours of wear.
From Smartwool we carry:
- Merino socks for hiking, skiing, running and everyday wear
- Men's merino baselayers
- Women's baselayers
- Beanies
Smartwool socks are a favourite with hikers because they keep feet warm and dry and help reduce the risk of blisters. Merino baselayers are ideal for multi-day routes where frequent washing is not an option, and they are comfortable next to the skin, without the itch many people associate with wool.
Want to compare different thicknesses and cushioning? Come to Petridi, in Thessaloniki since 1949, and we will suggest the sock that suits your boot. You will also find Smartwool in our e-shop, with delivery throughout Greece.
