The Second Cut™ Hike Sock is our most iconic sock, reimagined to reduce waste and reinforce durability. It has the iconic fit and feel of the Classic Edition Hike Sock and features the circular Second Cut™ yarn, a mix of recycled fibres, canister waste and virgin Merino wool. These socks not only feel good, they also do good with every step on the trail.

  • 2nd Cut™ yarn: a mix of 50% recycled fibres (from Smartwool's sock take-back programme and canister waste) and 50% virgin Merino wool
  • Extra Cushion: heavy thickness with full sock cushioning for maximum warmth and protection
